These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of personalized digital and printed books on the Fabolia website.

Prices are shown in euros, VAT included. Basic Plan: €14.90. Premium Plan: €29.90. Deluxe Plan: €39.90. These amounts cover the book alone. Plans including a printed book require a shipping fee contribution of €2.45 – €4.90 depending on the plan, added to the plan price; digital-only plans have no shipping fees. The total amount due — plan price plus any shipping contribution — is shown to the customer in the order summary before payment.

Payment is made by credit card via our partner Stripe. Bank details never pass through our servers. The charged amount is the total shown in the order summary: the chosen plan price plus any shipping fee contribution of €2.45 – €4.90 depending on the plan. No other charges apply.

After payment, the book creation begins and proceeds through several steps requiring your approval: you review the story, then approve each illustration. For packages including the digital version (Basic, Deluxe), the PDF file is available as soon as you have approved all pages; the availability timing depends on when you complete this validation. For printed packages, production only starts after your approval; delivery then takes 5 to 7 business days within mainland France. Packages including a printed book require a shipping fee contribution of €2.45 – €4.90 depending on the package, added to the package price; exclusively digital packages, with no shipping, have no shipping fees. This contribution is shown on the order summary before payment, included in the total price paid, and appears on the receipt.

Fabolia books are made to customer specifications and are highly personalized (name, photos, story). In accordance with Article L.221-28 3° of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised once production has started. By confirming their order, the customer expressly agrees that book creation begins immediately and acknowledges losing their right of withdrawal. This exclusion does not affect legal guarantees of conformity and hidden defects, nor replacement of a damaged, non-compliant, or deteriorated copy during transport.

All claims must first be addressed to our customer service at contact@fabolia.com. If no amicable solution is found within one month, the consumer client may, in accordance with Article L.612-1 of the Consumer Code, use a consumer mediator free of charge. The mediator must be contacted within one year from the written complaint sent to the professional. All claims must first be sent to us in writing at contact@fabolia.com. We commit to responding within 30 days.

Payment confirmation constitutes full acceptance of these general terms and conditions of sale, in their version effective on the day of the order. The customer is informed before any payment, with a reminder and a link to these terms presented on the payment page.
